My Experiences
I have always tried to stay involved with all of the things that interest me whether it's volunteering, hobbies, and experiencing new things.

Latino Medical Student Association (LMSA)
In my first semester at UCF I joined LMSA. This is a club for students who aspire to become physicians in the latino community. I am lucky and grateful to have joined this club, because it made me realize that my passion of helping others was not as a physician but as a physical therapist.

Volunteering
I've had many experiences volunteering, mainly as a young adult in school. I've helped organize events for charity, helped the people in my community by providing hot food for those who need it, and I've done beach clean-ups. Finally, I have helped families who's kids are suffering from cancer at St. Judes Research Hospital.
Traveling
I have also had the great opportunity to learn a lot about other cultures through traveling. Our parents always gave my brother and I the chance to learn in different ways, and showed us how to be kind and humble.

St. Jude's Children Research Hospital
I have participated twice in the marathon that St. Jude's does to raise money. Furthermore, I have also gone to this hospital with a pediatric cancer foundation by the name of UNETE that helps kids and families in the latino/hispanic community with any assistance they might need while we're there.
We also prepare a family day for the kids and their loved ones in which we provided entertainment, dinner, and day to just be kids and not think about what they're going through. These experiences have been forever engraved in my heart, and making me the person I am today.
